  • Package maintainer: 500+ dependent repos, 100+ dependent packages or 200,000+ monthly downloads on npm, PyPI, crates.io or similar.
  • Or a committer on a recognized foundation or language project: CPython, Rust, Node.js, Apache, CNCF, Linux and similar.
  • Or 100+ merged PRs in repos you do not own in the last 12 months.
  • Or a repo of yours with 20+ external contributors with merged PRs in the last 12 months.

How to get it

  1. Check which criterion your project or contributions meet.
  2. Fill in the application on the program page.
  3. If the project matters but misses the criteria, apply anyway and explain why.
  4. Once approved, Max 20x runs for 6 months.

Limitations

This is a subscription, not API credits. After 6 months a paid plan resumes at its previous rate unless you cancel; without one the account returns to the free plan.
